Nothing better than a summery matcha recipe to celebrate the start of our summer season Down Under!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 watermelon (removing the rind and cut into large cubes)
- 2 handfuls of fresh mint
- 2 tsp of Great Rise Matcha
METHOD
Making
- Boil 4 cups of water and pour into a bowl with the fresh mint leaves and allow to cool
- Blend the watermelon in a blender or food processor until smooth
- Filter the watermelon juice by running the blended watermelon through a strainer and discard the pulp
- Once your fresh mint tea has cooled, removed mint leaves and stir in 2 tsp of matcha powder.

Layering
- Fill half a medium glass with ice with the watermelon juice
- Take a spoon, and slowly pour matcha over the back of it until your glass is full. (*this should work…it might not…but it should).
