“Rain Water” (雨水, Yu Shui) is the second solar term. It usually falls between the 18th and 20th of February when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 330°.

This term marks the start of warming days, thawing snow and increasing rainfalls, hence the name “Rain Water.”

Around this time, the days get warmer with increasing precipitation. But in northern China, frequent cold air still induces sudden temperature drop.

“Rain Water” signals two changes in precipitation. As the days get warmer, the precipitation not only increases, but also comes more in the form of rains than snow.

2. Open the park in due time. Adjust measures to local conditions, grasp the appropriate mining time of the early-growing tea garden, and mining can be carried out when 10-15 tea buds per square meter of the tea tree canopy meet the quality requirements of fresh leaves.

In the process of picking, it is necessary to pick the tea according to the standard, in time, in batches and frequently. If it can be picked, it should be picked as much as possible. More tender tea should be picked, and the famous and high-quality tea that is marketable should be produced, so as to give full play to the economic benefits of spring tea.
